JOB SUMMARY:  Repairs and maintains all Robinson Rubber Product Co’s. buildings and equipment including fabrication of new and existing support equipment.  

ESSENTIALS JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Performs direct repair and maintenance on buildings and equipment as needed. (Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic)
  2. Notifies Maintenance Lead for necessary supplies and equipment to support repair and maintenance activities.
  3. Works directly with Maintenance Team to assure that all Preventive Maintenance activities are completed.
  4. Performs maintenance tasks as required to support Production objectives of a 5-day 24-hour manufacturing facility.
  5. Communicates to Maintenance Lead for immediate repairs that take longer than 15 minutes.
  6. Assist on routine tasks and other troubleshooting to maintenance technicians and Team Leads/Operators.
  7. Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  8. Team player, self-starter, and dependable. 
  9. Multi-tasks to support molding operations.

 

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • Basic understanding of Industrial electrical.
  • Manual mill/lathe operation is required, will train.
  • Hydraulic knowledge is preferred.
  • Pneumatic knowledge is preferred.
  • Can obtain a State of Minnesota, “Special” High Pressure Boiler Engineer License.
  • Forklift and Scissor Lift operations.
  • Troubleshooting and the ability to make recommendations to all levels of leadership is required.
  • Knowledge of equipment used for industrial manufacturing.
  • Mechanically inclined, able to take things apart and put them back together.

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Must be able to lift 20 –30 pounds several times per day and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Bending at waist, kneeling, climbing, walking, and crouching as the job may require.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
