JOB SUMMARY: Repairs and maintains all Robinson Rubber Product Co’s. buildings and equipment including fabrication of new and existing support equipment.
ESSENTIALS JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs direct repair and maintenance on buildings and equipment as needed. (Electrical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic)
- Notifies Maintenance Lead for necessary supplies and equipment to support repair and maintenance activities.
- Works directly with Maintenance Team to assure that all Preventive Maintenance activities are completed.
- Performs maintenance tasks as required to support Production objectives of a 5-day 24-hour manufacturing facility.
- Communicates to Maintenance Lead for immediate repairs that take longer than 15 minutes.
- Assist on routine tasks and other troubleshooting to maintenance technicians and Team Leads/Operators.
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Team player, self-starter, and dependable.
- Multi-tasks to support molding operations.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Basic understanding of Industrial electrical.
- Manual mill/lathe operation is required, will train.
- Hydraulic knowledge is preferred.
- Pneumatic knowledge is preferred.
- Can obtain a State of Minnesota, “Special” High Pressure Boiler Engineer License.
- Forklift and Scissor Lift operations.
- Troubleshooting and the ability to make recommendations to all levels of leadership is required.
- Knowledge of equipment used for industrial manufacturing.
- Mechanically inclined, able to take things apart and put them back together.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Must be able to lift 20 –30 pounds several times per day and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Bending at waist, kneeling, climbing, walking, and crouching as the job may require.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
